Right Track Truancy Program

The Right Track Truancy Program was developed in cooperation with local school districts, police departments, Randolph County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois Attorney General's Office.  A Truancy Review Board is an intricate part of the Right Track Truancy Program services.

Parent/legal guardians of students referred to the program will be responsible to insure their student maintains good school attendance.  Failure to comply with proper attendance procedures will result in the student and parent/legal guardian being referred to the Truancy Review Board.

The Truancy Review Board consists of members from local agencies who provide services that may be beneficial to the student and/or the parent/legal guardian.

Students and parents who fail to meet with the board or to comply with the orders of the Truancy Review Board will be referred to the States Attorney for the appropriate county.
