The Process
- The
three experts on your team will be divided into three regions. Each
person must choose a region: The Southern Colonies, The Middle
Colonies, and The New England Colonies.
- Each
expert will complete their Information Sheet for their region.

- Use the information sheet to answer the questions for your
area of expertise.
- Once the Information Sheet has been completed, all 3 experts will come together to share findings. Each team member needs to share their information with the other members.
- After discussing the information, discuss and determine the similarities and differences discovered between the regions.
You will create a 2 page newspaper using Microsoft publisher. Your discoveries must include a variety of articles/summaries/advertisements/obituaries/etc. summarizing your research on the 13 colonies. We will be brainstorming and discussing possible ideas for your newspapers in class. You will plan and write your articles before entering data onto the computers. You will be given a basic template for your newspaper
You will Create a pictorial timeline - see directions or a timeline using Timeliner software.
